If not for my father, the path of his child might wait,
glimpsed and yet unwalked.
If not for my mother, I might be trapped
in the endless ordering of a tiny world,
to the point of my own disorder.
If not for the father that fathered my daughter,
I might never have learned to choose myself.
If not for the father that fathered my son
I might be imprisoned in a cell of my own making.
If not for an introduction to The Father
I might not have seen through The Father
to all that I Am.
glimpsed and yet unwalked.
